We are in a highly accessible location within walking distance of King's Cross, St. Pancras, and Euston stations and excellent Underground bus and local rail services. Our conference room is suitable for meetings, training, workshops, interviewing, and smaller presentations. It is a pleasant room in two sections - a meeting area and an anti-room where your refreshments will be provided. There is plenty of natural daylight, comfortable seating, and air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi is provided. A cheap meeting room need not be a poor one and the room is suited to entertaining business clients or guests as well as internal meetings.
Many people hire meeting rooms in London that are just plain boring, in business meeting venues that are even more uninteresting! Our meeting room is a comfortable, flexible room that is economic but our standards are still high. Delegates can normally view the museum during breaks.
Our charges start at £99 plus VAT and include your self service refreshments facility. We charge a fixed fee for usage between 1000 and 1630 and supplements for earlier starts or later finishes. Different prices apply to evening meetings. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are always included in the basic charges so you don't need to pay hotel prices for your refreshments. An optional rapid booking system (with deposit payment online by card) keeps administration to a minimum. Cheap doesn't mean nasty - you will be as comfortable as in a typical hotel.
The room is available for booking at any time of the day or evening. The standard booking times are 1000-1630 but an earlier start or later finish can be arranged, with notice, at extra cost.
Please note that bookings for the small conference room are not accepted for Saturdays or Sundays earlier than six weeks prior to the date. This is due to the regular use of the room in conjunction with larger weekend private functions. An exception can occasionally be made where the pattern of bookings for the month is already known well in advance so it is worth letting us know that you're interested earlier than six weeks before. Weekend bookings starting before 1000 or ending after 1630 may be possible but should be booked in good time.
If you need to know dimensions and the shape of the room please download this Layout plan - small meeting room in Adobe PDF format. This plan gives key dimensions and illustrates the unusual layout of the anti-room and the meeting area.
If you would like to see more pictures of the room please go to our Picture Gallery and choose the meeting room album.
We have a range of equipment available, which should be booked in advance. There is a built-in screen. We can provide various projectors, DVD and CD player, amplifiers for sound tracks, flip charts, Wi-Fi, and more. For a list see our equipment page. The most common requiestes in this room are a data projector £45 + VAT) and a flip chart (£5 plus VAT)
If your delegates only drink goats' milk or soya milk we will do our best to help. We don't provide food. Any special needs should be discussed in advance.
We don't offer food ourselves. You can visit a local sandwich bar or cafe or supermarket if you wish. You can order a buffet lunch to be delivered to your room by your choice of caterer. We don't reccommend caterers but the following suggestions may be useful. Links open in a new window.
We can provide fruit juices at £1.75 per carton plus VAT or you can ask your caterer to provide this or bring it yourself. Juice must be booked in advance.

It is a relaxed, pleasant place for meetings, training, interviewing, and small scale lunches and dinners. It is an airy room with plenty of natural light, with an exhibition of canal posters and pictures not on public display. The conference room is an unusual combination of a main meeting space, and an anti-room, divided by a narrower opening. The anti-room is normally used for refreshments and can also be useful if you need a place for materials, literature or other things for your event. We can provide flip charts and a projector. Our self service refreshments are included in the charges. We provide a table equipped with a kettle, and all the ingredients to make your own tea and coffee as and when you want it.
