We offer an attractive unusual venue with abundant character for your launch event. Whether your launch takes the form of a party with invited guests, a publicity stunt, or a presentation to the media and guests, we can provide the backdrop you need.

The museum is available for launches after 1630 most days, or all day on Mondays. Small scale events which can take place in the museum without impeding access to the exhibitions for visitors will be considered during opening hours..

There is ample space to stage an exhibition or displays of pictures as part of the occasion.

If your launch event takes the form of a reception for invited guests, please also have a look at our business receptions page.

We can provide a range of furniture, projectors, screen and DVD players. Wine glasses are available for hire. You are free to use the outside caterers of your choice, whether they bring in drinks, snacks or a lavish buffet lunch. We can organise a cloakroom and of course there are separate ladies and gents toilets. Power supplies are available around the walls of the museum so that nowhere is far from one if you need to use electrical equipment. We can usually provide a tea and coffee service for delegates or you can ask your caterer to provide this.
