Mothers' Day 2027

Join us with your mother (or someone else's mother if you like) for a boat trip treat on Long Tom, our sigghtseeing passenger boat on The Regent's Canal. Everyone gets a window seat. A guide will tell you a bit about the tunnel you pass through and the history of the canal asyou cruise and you'll be served a pastry on the morning and lunch-time cruises and a scone and cream on the afternoon cruise, togehter with a slice of cake, tea or coffee.

The departure times are 1045, 1245 and 1445 and the boat will leave on time so please do not be late. Your ticket includes your museum visit so there will be plenty to do before and after your boat trip. Remember though that the museum closes at 1630 so come early to see the museum before embarking on the 1445 trip.

Tickets for this once-a-year special in 2026 were £30 adult, £28 concessions, and £23 children to include the trip and the museum.

Important points

• Please arrive in good time and meet the crew at the rear of the museum 10 minutes before departure
• Tickets are not refundable but if you need to make some change to your booking please use the booking support form to contact us and do not telephone
• We can only cater for special diets if you contact us in good time, a few days in advance
• Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot access the boat. Staff will assist anyone who needs help to negotiate the few steps into the cabin
• Dress for the season. There is heating on the boat and it is fully covered but you should have warm clothing with you
• There is a toilet on the boat but please use the museum facilities if you can before embarkation
• Early booking is reccommended as there is limited capacity
• All passengers require a ticket however young or old
• The boat leaves from the museum - of course!
