Prices
Tickets for 2025 are £10 per person of any age, without a boat trip. There are no concessions. Price is £15 including a pre-booked short boat trip, which will take you to see the Christmas lights of King's Cross by water. Tickets for museum entry only will be available at reception on the evening.
About Carols and Ices
- From 1800 to 2100 on 10th December 2025
- Carols in the ice well by Camden Town Community Choir (to be confirmed). At 1815 and 1915 underground, and at 2015 at floor level. Look down into the illuminated ice well where singers will sing Christmas carols at intervals.
- Ice cream making, Edwardian style. Our very own tribute to Mrs Agnes B. Marshall, the Edwardian queen of ice-cream making, will be performing as the great lady and making Christmas ice cream using ice and salt without a freezer. Sweet mincemeat flavour! Ice-cream making demonstrations will be held twice during the evening at 1845 and 1945 lasting approximately 30 minutes.
- Free mince pie
- A pay bar will be available offering beer and wine. Bar open 1800-2030. Cards accepted and preferred, cash accepted.
- Candle lighting and atmospheric lighting in the historic building
- Doors open 1800 (slightly earlier if you have booked the 1800 boat). Last entry 2030 - but come earlier if you can
- Short boat trips on Long Tom at 1800 1830 1900 1930 2000 and 2030 - pre-booking essential and you need to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time.
- An opportunity for Christmas shopping in the museum shop. We have a wide range of canal-related gifts on sale and one of the largest collections of canal book titles in England!
