The museum has a collection of oral history recordings. Short extracts from these are available from "listening posts" in the museum as you visit. Longer extracts have been edited and made available online.
The museum has collected a considerable number of recordings over the years. Not all are online but many are. Some recordings are available on this website and more are available on SoundCloud.
This link takes you to the page on which we present selected extracts from our oral history collection online.
There is also an extensive collection on our Soundcloud site.
The page below tells you about the oral history recording programme, and suggests that you get in touch if you think you or someone that you know might be able to contribute a new voice. Please do.
