Meetings don't have to be in boring places!

Many meetings take place in rooms that are just plain boring, in venues that are even more uninteresting! Our meeting room is a comfortable, flexible room that won't break the bank, but our standards are still high. The room was redecorated in November 2008.

Availability and Prices

The room is available for booking at any time of the day or evening, any day of the week. Our charges start at £95 plus VAT and include your self service refreshments facility. We charge a fixed fee for usage between 1000 and 1630 and supplements for earlier starts or later finishes. Different prices apply to evening meetings. The inclusion of tea/coffee can mean a considerable saving compared to venues who charge for coffee by the cup. An optional rapid booking system (with deposit payment online by card) keeps administration to a minimum.

Plan and Pictures

If you need to know dimensions and the shape of the room please download this Layout plan - small meeting room in Adobe PDF format. This plan gives key dimensions and illustrates the unusual layout of the anti-room and the meeting area.

If you would like to see more pictures of the room please go to our Picture Gallery and choose the meeting room album.

It is a relaxed, pleasant place for meetings, training, interviewing, and small scale lunches and dinners. It is an airy room with plenty of natural light, with an exhibition of canal posters and pictures not on public display. The conference room is an unusual combination of a main meeting space, and an anti-room, divided by a narrower opening. We have 12 comfortable upholstered conference chairs, and tables are arranged to suit your needs. The anti-room is normally used for refreshments and can also be useful if you need a place for materials, literature or other things for your event.
